ScreenshotSunday saw Squire Patton Boggs’ sporting endeavours continue, with a team from the London Office running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of Action For Kids, the London Office’s Charity of the Year.

The 6am wake-up on a Sunday morning proved to be worth it, as the run took place during the sunniest part of the day, starting in Hyde Park and following a route around some of London’s Royal Parks and most famous landmarks.  Notwithstanding a couple of injuries (and thanks to a well-timed sprint finish), Team SPB made it across the finish line inside the 2 hour mark, raising over £1,000 for Action For Kids in the process.

Lyn Prodger of Action For Kids said:

“Everyone at Action For Kids would like to say a very big thank you to Rosie and Emma for taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Thanks too to all those who sponsored them and helped raise such a fantastic total – a sum like this makes a huge difference to the lives of disabled children and young people.”
